FAQ Answer

Q. Where can I find a proctor for my exam?

Answer

USF does not offer proctoring services to the public, but here is a list of alternatives in the Bay Area:

Daly City Library Location: Daly City Website

San Bruno Library Location: San Bruno Website

Bay Area Testing Center Location: Millbrae Website

CSU East Bay Location: Hayward Website

SJSU Location: San Jose Website

Mechanics' Institute Library Location: San Francisco Website

If you are a current USF student, there are some proctoring options:

  • USF offers proctored exams to eligible students through Student Disability Services (SDS). Under "Academics" there is an option for alternative testing. This encompasses proctoring exams for students who are eligible for SDS and this specific service.
  • Also, each academic department can set up a proctored exam if a student is absent for a test. Usually the Program Assistant of the department becomes the proctor for that specific exam. This is set up between the student, professor, and the program assistant.
